Do not feel comfortable donating money, but still want to help?
We have an Amazon Wishlist that gets continuously updated with the items we need (food is always a big one). The wish list goes to a Board Member's house to make sure the items are not left out at The Den for anyone to take. The items are then dispersed between the fosters who need them.
Where do the donations go?
Supplies
Ensuring cats have nutritious food helps maintain their health and happiness while in the rescue's care. Contributions help provide bedding, litter, toys, and other essential supplies that enrich the lives of rescue cats and promote their well-being.
Medical Care
Donations fund essential veterinary treatments, surgeries, and medications to address injuries, illnesses, and other health concerns. In the last month alone, we have had 6 dental extractions, a full rear leg amputation, partial tail amputation, and multiple spay, neuters, rabies, and other basic care.
Vaccinations
Vaccinations protect cats from preventable diseases, keeping them healthy and increasing their chances of adoption. We do FCRVP in-house as well as combined testing to make sure they do or do not have FeLV and/or FIV so we can take the necessary precautions.
Microchips
Microchipping ensures cats can be identified and reunited with their owners if they become lost or separated, promoting responsible pet ownership. Every cat that comes into our care is microchipped.
Intake Medication
Many cats arrive at the rescue with medical needs that require immediate attention. Your donation helps cover the cost of intake medication to address these urgent health issues as well as flea, heartworm, ringworm and
Compassionate Care
Your support enables the rescue to provide compassionate care and rehabilitation to cats who have experienced neglect, abuse, or trauma.
